We are a new educational business based in Oxfordshire, UK dedicated to providing engaging and innovative classes and holiday clubs focusing on a range of STEM subjects with an emphasis on coding and technology. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning and help children develop essential skills for the future, all while having fun.
Our Story
Hi there! We are the founders of Edventures. We both have nearly two decades of teaching experience in secondary schools, training centres and home education. Our passion for education makes us dedicated to making learning accessible and enjoyable for children and adults. We believe that everyone has the potential to achieve great things, and we're committed to creating programs that empower people to do just that. Our goal with Edventures is to combine our experience with innovative teaching resources to deliver truly impactful educational experiences, enhancing future career prospects for those we train.
Meet Our Lead Instructors
Ed Harnett
Ed has a Masters degree in Meteorology and Climate Change. He taught music, science and computer science at secondary school. He currently works with technical apprentices, and helps out with home school. He is a skilled violinist and enjoys music technology.
Esther Harnett
Esther has a doctorate in Astrophysics. Her thesis topic was star formation in molecular clouds. She worked for seven years teaching Physics and Science at secondary school then gave up her job to home school her two boys and explore ‘learning outside the box’. She is also a musician, artist and filmmaker.
